エドワード7世(アルバート・エドワード、1841-1910)は、サクス＝コバーグ＝ゴータ朝の初代イギリス国王(在位: 1901-1910)である。在位前は放蕩家として悪名をはせていたが、在位中には日英同盟、英仏協商、英露協商を締結するなど、とりわけ外交面において活躍し、「ピースメーカー」と称されていた。
Edward Ⅶ (Albert Edward, 1841 – 1910) was the King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain (1901 – 1910).
Though he had been notorious for his dissipation, he played an active role in diplomacy and concluded treaties with many countries during his reign. Therefore, he was called “Peacemaker.”
